Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Gallo regularly represents commercial banks, insurance companies, finance companies, real estate investment trusts and other real estate investors in connection with commercial real estate financing transactions and investments. He has coordinated real estate investments across the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean, including multi-state transactions involving the acquisition and financing of portfolios of non-performing and under-performing loans and real estate owned assets from commercial finance companies, construction and mezzanine loan facilities for mixed-use projects throughout the United States and Mexico, working capital facilities for hotel operators, real estate developers and REITs and the formation of joint ventures and advice in conjunction with preferred equity investments. Mr. Gallo’s practice has also included substantial matters related to hotel development, management and financing projects. In recent months, Mr. Gallo has been extensively involved in loan workouts, enforcement proceedings, restructurings and conveyances in lieu of foreclosure on behalf of commercial lenders.
