What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
No achievement is great; there is always someone else who can finish ahead. Yes, he feels delighted when he finds himself in a position where he can witness himself coming closer to the goal set 22 years back. Some of the milestones, which he considers to be his own achievements, include:
• At the age of 20, he started the manufacturing business of the electronic push button telephone instrument. He accomplished the regular target of expected production for three consecutive years, and that, too, at a small level and within limited resources.
• Before completion of an engineering degree, he managed to learn practical aspects of business management. His vision, and fast and right decision-making capacity and well-rounded team management skills are the factors that lead him to where he is today.
• His participation and initiation in the concept of a private exchange in India, 1994, fueled his confidence level. He convinced the government to be a part of this project at that time, which was tough for a small private firm to enter into the market of telecom, governed by the Indian government.
• After that, he never looked back. He achieved all the set goals which he planned, except a few things which were beyond his control. These achievements have become his habit now, as he has leaned to set realistic goals, setting aside unrealistic dreams. He has learned to simplify the challenges of this industry into achievements by hard work and business intelligence without overdoing it at any level. He has a winning combination of skill sets to achieve anything.
How would you like to be remembered by your peers?:
He would like to be remembered by his peers with curiosity - how could he achieve his goals under adverse circumstances?
He wants to be remembered for his professional ethics and commitments, and wants to establish a precedent to be followed by others. He wishes to be remembered as a man of perseverance, equipped with entrepreneurial skills, leadership aptitude, and firm decision-making abilities. He would be delighted if he could leave some ethical principles for others to learn.
Team-building is yet another way of contributing to the society in any work performed. Leadership is one of the most prominent factors. Apt and commanding leadership is the key to offering development. Right guidance and strong leadership can ward off all adversities and enable anyone to emerge as a winner and contribute to society. It is all about business, as he has been in this genre since he was 18, since he belongs to a business family. Their social architecture did not allow them to kick off a business promptly, as it requires ample capital and support. There are very few people, who are brave enough to take a plunge into this industry.
He wants be remembered as a person who had a ethical and result-oriented business culture ingrained into the nerves of his team. He wishes that his team could impart the same education to the next generation. Unethical business can lead to nowhere. He is a staunch believer of conducting business with complete dedication and ethics, irrespective of its outcome, and want to be remembered for distributing the same rules.
If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?:
If he could solve one problem, he would plea the world for cease the use of natural resources, which cannot be renewed. The development must not be at the cost of depletion of nonrenewable natural resources. It may lead to myriads of natural calamities and other allied unnatural environmental conditions. Such growth cannot be accepted as development; rather the world would be heading toward mass destruction, resulting in extinction of the earth.
The world has already begun hearing the footsteps of destruction and wrath of nature, which is the result of unusual churning and unnatural exploitation of available natural resources. It’s time to pledge ourselves to the cause of saving our earth.
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?:
He would like to enjoy lunch with Mahatma Gandhi because he had been a man of substance, and who had been instrumental in liberating India from the British colonial rule. He would be honored to have a conversation with him, observe his simplicity and learn to remain rooted to the ground from his down-to-earth personality.

The most gratifying aspect of his career is using his rich experience and knowledge to polish his business vision to where he can offer a secure future to his vendors, investors, and employees. By investing in multiple revenue streams, he can keep his vendors satisfied and offer employees a safe and secure future by providing them with training instead of hiring professional brains. He collaborated with global partners and worked together to transform a small private company into the global player Bankai Group of Companies. The company started with $9 million U.S. and crossed the milestone of $100 million U.S. in just five years.

Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
I got involved in my profession because business was in my blood. I had been in the telecommunications industry since the age of 18 years. Prior to founding Bankai International in 2003, I took over the reins of the Panamax Group, the flagship of the group. In the capacity of president and chief executive officer in 1989, I founded Panamax Group and served 18 years as chairman and managing director. I oversaw manufacturing of telecom products, solutions and marketing. I have been instrumental in managing product management, business development, marketing, and corporate communications. After working from concept through development and introduction of the telecom products in Indian market, I enter into the sector of KPO, software development for VOIP carriers and call center industries in 1999.
