Extended Bio Profile:
Integrated Securities chief executive officer and founder, Mr. Schissel is a former sergeant with the New York City Police Department. Among many prestigious assignments during his tenure with the NYPD, Mr. Schissel was a certified instructor at the New York City Police Academy, and in 1989, he was assigned to the organized control bureau's narcotics division as a field investigator. Mr. Schissel received numerous department medals including the bronze star, a 1990 unit citation award, induction into the NYPD Honor Legion, and a certificate of honor from the NYPD Sergeants Benevolent Association. Mr. Schissel founded the company in October of 1998, after participating in several high-profile assignments as a corporate investigator and security consultant at Corplex, Inc., and Kroll Associates. Over the past 16 years, Mr. Schissel has licensed the firm in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and California. Branch offices are located in Melville, N.Y.; Norwalk, Conn.; Hartford, Conn.; Miami, Fla.; and San Francisco, Calif. In February of 2009, Mr. Schissel expanded operations to 19 states, pursuant to an exclusive business partnership with the global forwarding division of Deutsche Post DHL, as well as the 9/11 Commission Act of 2007 and its cargo screening mandate. Integrated Securities has been intimately involved with the Certified Cargo Screening Program since 2008. The company also created the operational prototype for DHL Global Forwarding to abide by the rules of the cargo screening program when the first half of the mandate went live in February 2009. Subsequently, this model has been incorporated by DHL’s Labor Services and Procurement Unit to address contract bids for DHL Express Mail, another wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Post. Integrated Securities has expanded operations for DHL at facilities located across the United States and within Puerto Rico. By the end of the 2011 fiscal year, Integrated Securities will be operational in 32 states. Mr. Schissel’s contacts, both domestic and international, continue to broaden Integrated Securities’ client base and scope of operations. This broad-based experience has allowed Mr. Schissel to translate his unique vision into innovative strategies and solutions for individuals and business professionals seeking private investigation and corporate security services.
