If she could change one problem in the world today, she would alter the No Child Left Behind Act so that it would assess students with disabilities based on an individual growth model of the students, rather than testing the students' disability against them.

If Ms. Watson could have lunch with anyone, she would choose Rose Kennedy, because she would like to thank her for her strength and leadership in recognizing that persons with disabilities are valuable and need to be treated as worthwhile human beings.

The highlight of her career was when she received the Hand-in-Hand Award, particularly because it came from parents who recognize individuals that assist students with disabilities.
