Ms. Hohenthaner taught vocal music and started band programs for high school and college students throughout her career. She currently has a pipe organ in her kitchen and enjoys playing classical music.

In five years, Ms. Hohenthaner plans to continue substitute teaching the organ, and volunteering her time in order to re-establish the importance of music in the lives of young children in the Las Vegas area.
