She became involved in her profession because she gained experience as a librarian and was influenced by her superintendent, who supported her in writing a grant, which led her to this profession.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Bottomley manages a free health center which is funded by the state of New Mexico Department of Health on school grounds serving at the wishes of the superintendent and the Board of Education. She is a Medicaid presumptive eligibility and Medicaid on-site application assistance determiner and a facilitator for many programs and grants. She is also the mother of four children, three stepchildren and three great grandchildren.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Working on Medicaid Projects, Writing Grants, Hiring Coordinates Between the School District and Department of Health Service, Helping Children with Psychological Disorders and Drug Abuse Issues, Coordinating Drug Abuse and Sex Education Prevention and Intervention Programs Three Days a Week, Overseeing Food Distribution to Needy Children from Roadrunner Food Bank, Backpacking and Handing Distributing Food to Children
