She attributes her success to being loved well by friends, family, and the omnipotent, omniscient energies of this universe.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she was inspired by her grandmother, mother, and numerous public school teachers and church leaders.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. McCormack has produced learning experiences based on Kansas’ curriculum standards for public school students, as a result the students achieved annual progress as prescribed by No Child Left Behind. She designed and directed public events while adapting curriculum to meet individual needs of gifted students in a small private school, as a result four public events were available to exhibit the achievements of students and staff of the school. She taught students with the reputation of being one of the worst classes in the school to believe in their own potential as a result it increased student achievement scores by more than one year. She created and maintained database for Metropolitan Avenue United Methodist Church membership, produced weekly bulletins and biweekly newsletter for the congregation were 300 and more member church had regular communications maintained. She assisted director of continuing education with all aspects of program development and served as interim director for sixteen weeks following Director’s resignation to assure continuity of the program, as a result 200 and more students a year were provided outstanding art education opportunities. She collaborated as an assistant director in a summer camp program, recruited and trained more than 100 volunteers, and designed the logo for the Heartland Presbyterian Center as a result 650 youth were nurtured during an outdoor adventure in a safe learning environment. She coordinated art shows and assisted with installation of recycled sculptures at three different environmental awareness earth day events were 1000 members enjoyed area visual artwork, with some of it featured in local news media. She designed presentations, characters and constructed costumes for a variety of events and delivered audiovisual lecture at workshop during international convention where 2000 listeners received information in an entertaining venue. She is a volunteer teacher for Junior Ranger Programs at Tumacacori National Historical Park and has provided art direction for the revival of ‘How Far Felipe,’ a children's play at Tubac State Park. In 2008, she served as a restaurant and contributor coordinator for Taste of the Santa Cruz Valley, primary foundation event supporting post-secondary scholarships for area graduating seniors.
