What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to her innate creativity and insight to get a feel for what the client wants, which she realized she had 25 years ago. She gets a thrill to see a room completed after having the visualization in her mind on how she wants to create the space. She also attributes her success to being able to work and stay within in all ranges of budgets.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she spent 11 years in a different industry and found herself getting bored; it was too repetitive. She decided she wanted to pursue a different field and went back to school at night. Her friend's husband was a successful interior designer and wanted to work for him for free to see if she wanted to get into interior design as her next career option. He was not thrilled with the idea at first, but in the end, he loved her enthusiasm and later on offered her a full-time job while she was attending school at night.
