He became involved in his profession after working for USPS. He was laboring in odd jobs when he saw an employment opening for an electronics technician; he wanted to begin a career with better pay and more opportunities for advancement.

Mr. Spence received an honorable discharge from the United States Navy in November of 2011. He is now actively pursuing a bachelor's degree.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Ensuring that naval equipment is operational and undergoes appropriate corrective maintenance, repairs and replacements; Scheduling and verifying technicians' assignments; Updating computer systems; Studying technology so that he can advance as a technician
