Now retired from the field of education, Dr. Spradling Martin spent 33 years teaching high school science and community college classes. Having taught more than 10,000 students throughout her career, she believes that her strongest traits as an educator were her fairness and ability to establish trusting relationships with her students. She retired in 2007.
