She attributes her success to passion for doing work out of love.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because felt called to this line of work since she was young. She became a pastor at 59 as a part of her spiritual journey. Growing up, she was interested in ministry work, as well as in helping with the physically and mentally challenged. She blessed her grandmother when she was suffering from a diabetic attack, and she baptized an unfortunate 4-year-old child whose family could not afford the ceremony.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Spending at least five hours in church; Conducting worship services and church meetings; Visiting assisted-living facilities twice a month

In five years, Ms. Yaruta hopes to publish her writing and help make the Ellsworth United Methodist Church stronger by bringing more young adults to the church.
