Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Abbott has spent more than 30 years as a training and performance improvement specialist, information and instructional designer, and business communications consultant in the high-tech industry. In those roles, she has worked both as a corporate employee and as a consultant. While her husband gave up a career in general aviation to raise their son, she served in a high-tech position as a corporate training professional and was the household’s primary wage earner. After 9/11, he re-entered government service with the Department of Homeland Security and conceived the idea for their company, drawing from his extensive experience with aerial surveillance in the military and as a commercial pilot. The couple began writing business plans in 2004 and several years later, met with key associates, who helped bring the company into being. After surviving the country’s 2008-2009 economic crisis, operations began in May 2010. Ms. Abbott has always worked on the business communications end.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
