She became involved in her profession because she started as a gym teacher. She also worked with special education students and it really touched her heart how they tried so hard to succeed. She loved every place she worked, but she wanted to go beyond what she was able to do where she was working.

Training clients with developmental disabilities in life skills, hygiene, leisure skills, socialization, recreation, creative expression, and development of vocational, community and self-care skills; Overseeing policies and procedures; Hiring; Handling payroll; Setting up summer programs; Monitoring the entire operation
