Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession because it so beautifully blends state-of-the-art technology; the satisfaction that comes with long-term patient relationships; and the challenges of meticulous and precise surgical procedures. His particular interest in glaucoma stems from his interest in neuroscience, which he discovered as an undergraduate. The ability to directly visualize and appreciate the complexity of the optic nerve on a daily basis drives his continued curiosity and passion for his career.
