Ms. Flowers-Schoen believes that visual arts teachers as well as all other teachers reflect the essential and moral elements already present throughout the curricula, especially in the literature we read, history we discuss, science we implement, behaviors we model and reinforce, relationships we develop and virtues we promote every day. Her personal philosophy is 'The mind remembers what the heart loves.' She is also the chairwoman for the school operations board and co-chairwoman of the landscaping committee of the school.
