She became involved in her profession when she took a medical assistant position with the Reserve Officers' Training Corps and later branched out to cover all aspects of environmental science.

Ms. Caci served in Afghanistan for 15 months on a joint task force and worked on solving waste water issues and utilizing burn boxes.She has been the recipient multiple commendations.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Conducting Environmental Science Operations for the Military, Educating Soldiers, Educating Host Countries on How to Properly Address their Environmental Issues, Overseeing Vector-Borne, Airborne, Waterborne and Hazardous Waste Borne Agents as Well as any Environmental Agents that Pose Possible Threats to Soldiers, Tracking Diseases such as Dengue Fever and Malaria, Writing Policies and Procedures on How to Respond to Environmental Enemies and Conditions, Offering Education to Reduce the Levels of Harm Caused to Men and Women through Environmental Factors
