Mrs. Glass is originally from Glen Cove, Long Island, and also writes a weekly column called 'Amazing Animals' for Pet Friends of Duplin County, which she uses in educational settings. She is a published author, having contributed work to Wallace Enterprise, as well as an accomplished public speaker. Some of her clients include The Family Service League, universities, school districts, educators, church groups, and The Guardian Ad Litem Program. She is also proud to contribute her skills to a nonprofit organization for Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder called CHADD, and the tax-exempt organization provides education, advocacy and support for individuals with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. In addition to the organization’s informative website CHADD also publishes a variety of printed materials to keep members and professionals current on research advances, medications and treatments affecting individuals with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, including Attention Magazine, the CHADD information and resource guide to attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, news from CHADD, a free electronically mailed current events newsletter, as well as other publications of specific interest to educators, professionals and parents.
