She has always been a strong patient advocate, and as a survivor of a catastrophic accident herself, she is awaiting a double lung transplant while using her knowledge to help others.

Within the next five years, she is looking to have earned her Ph.D. and to continue to consult. She is a Certified Nursing Home Administrator through the American College of Healthcare Executives. She serves as a Public Official as Vice.Chair of the Americans with Disabilities Act Advisory Board for Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
