She became involved in her profession after working as a hairdresser for 22 years as a single mother. Due to her profession, she did not have health insurance. It was critical that she and her daughters remained healthy and avoid doctors' offices. Eating right and taking vitamins became the next best alternative to health care. She and her family avoided sugary and unhealthy foods, and thus, prevented unhealthy weight from becoming an issue. She then saw the potential for an online business.
