Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
Ms. Sugg became involved in her profession, after spending some time as a stay-at-home mother and then as a substitute teacher, because she had a friend who worked at a casino. Ms. Sugg started working with her friend as a payroll secretary. She then had a mentor who took her under his wing, and she became a dual right supervisor, and subsequently a manager.

Ms. Sugg has been in the casino beverage industry for 17 years, loves what she does, and has had the quality of her work recognized in a variety of ways. At IP Casino Resort & Spa, she has been named manager of the quarter and was the recipient of the company's first leadership award. Ms. Sugg has also received awards for the best cocktail service on the Gulf Coast. In addition, she has received letters of appreciation from Mississippi's governor and senators for teaching alcohol awareness. Ms. Sugg has volunteered for several different charities through the workplace.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Overseeing bartenders, barbacks, cocktail waitresses and wait staff; Making sure bars in entertainment studios are set up , stocked and staffed; Managing the bar side of the banquet facilities; Training bar and food waiters in alcohol awareness classes; Teaching a documentation class; Creating all manuals for all food and beverage service
