She became involved in her profession because she saw a need to help women entrepreneurs.
Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Riebe founded and grew two centers for women entrepreneurs, with two universities. She also has two referred publications accepted and currently in print production. She was recently at Chatham University as a business professor and the executive director of business programs. She is also the founding director of her second center for women’s entrepreneurship. She has taught marketing and entrepreneurship at four universities, for almost twenty years. Dr. Riebe brings a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship as a business owner, professor of entrepreneurship in the U.S. and Ireland for almost twenty years, and as a consultant to more than 150 business owners. In August, 2010, she presented a paper, “Giving Away Success: The Case for Women Entrepreneurs Revisited” at the Diana International Research Conference, in Banff.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Guiding women entrepreneurs to shorten their learning curves to success; Mentoring; Doing public speaking and presenting at seminars and conferences locally, nationally and internationally, on issues regarding women business owners and women’s leadership; Consulting for more than 150 business owners
