She became involved in her profession because she always loved science, but not the idea of working in a research lab. She naturally proceeded to medical school and has realized her love for continuous process improvement and quality; she is now working in administration to promote these concepts.

Dr. Watson is married and the mother of two children. She has been practicing internal medicine for 12 years and moved into administration to focus on improving medical practice, coordinate care and to meet goals for quality medical care.
