Mr. Cool is the president of Cool & Associates Inc., a Michigan-based international business development consulting company. He has worked in 54 countries throughout the world, the most recent Bosnia and Latvia in April 2004, and specializes in assisting small- to medium-size companies in the expansion of existing markets and introduction/expansion into the global marketplace through usage of synergistic market analysis. He is experienced in management, marketing, engineering and operations. This, coupled with the network of decision-makers he has developed (primarily in the Middle East and secondarily in the Far East), allows him the flexibility to readily travel from country-to-country pursuing business opportunities and promoting products. This knowledge of the Middle East market place permitted him to be selected as a member of the 1998 U.S.-Saudi Government sponsored Saudi Trade Delegation traveling throughout the U.S. identifying American manufacturers for potential business opportunities. Included in this business trip were travel throughout Canada, meeting with operations/manufacturing companies to identify potential global markets. As an innovative and dedicated professional with familiarity in German, Chinese (Mandarin), Russian, Arabic and Korean (Hangul), he has developed the capacity to be recognized in the development, organization and management of not only international telecommunications systems but also the international marketing of products not directly related to telecommunications systems. Examples of non-telecommunication products include the introduction in the Middle East High Voltage Electrical Power & Transmission Systems, Water Heaters (domestic & commercial), Electric Motors and electrical equipment utilized in the oil & petrochemical industry, e.g., SCADA systems. He has also been employed by the U.S. Department of Defense, worked with many foreign militaries and has been a telecom consultant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Previously, he has worked as a director of systems engineering at Harris RF Systems. Upon completion of a recent trip to Bosnia and Latvia, Cool & Associates is currently developing a "business presence" in Eastern Europe for access to the EU. In addition, Cool & Associates has signed an MOU with a colleague in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain for access to the Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC).
