Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Katsiaficas is 49 years old and has been a performing bassist since the age of 14. He started learning about sound equipment in his teens and by the time he was 21, he was doing live sound or playing bass at least part-time, which he continues to do to this day. Having ample on-stage experience has led him to learn sound equipment in many different venues, which has been an invaluable experience in learning both ends of audio mixing. He firmly believes that the monitors are just as important as the front of the house mix, and that anyone wanting to do live sound should have spent some time performing on stage first.
