Pastor Woodworth earned his pilot's wings and served in England with missions over Germany in B-17 bombers while in the U.S. Air Force. He was elected chaplain for the American Legion of Maryland, and twice ran for national chaplain in New Orleans and Boston. He aroused some controversy with his invocation before the Maryland General Assembly. Pastor Woodworth has his articles published in Truth & Liberty Magazine, Pulpit Helps, Mercury Magazine, Christianity Today, The Congressional Record, USA Today, The Baltimore Sun, St. Paul Dispatch and Christian publications in Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and England. He has written hundreds of articles and tracts, and edited his own publication, "Christ & Country Courier." He has appeared on television programs and panels in Baltimore, Boston, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Falls Church, Frederick, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville and Seattle.
