He attributes his success to his upbringing, the support he received from the Boy Scouts of America and the U.S. Marine Corps.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession because he realized the similarities to the corporate world when he worked in the finance department of the U.S. Marine Corps and enjoyed facing challenges.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Scarpinato previously worked as a U.S. Marine Corps drill instructor. He had gone on three combat tours and was shot twice, which forced him to transition into a financial career. He has also worked as a warrant officer and instructor at The Johns Hopkins University. He has written a book titled 'Understanding the Basic Elements of Financial Tools for Growth Strategies.' A point of inspiration has been his friend John Heart, who told him, "Never get down, always get up and focus, and you will grow," while they were in high school. Those words stuck with him and he lives by them to this day. He enjoys the fellowship and camaraderie with business acquaintances who have become his friends and family.
