He attributes his success to the Lord Jesus Christ, his hard work and pride in his business.

He became involved in his profession because he wanted to go into business for himself after serving as an electronic computer engineer.

Mr. Owens has served as an employee for an oil company, and in 1986, following his pursuit of a career in computers he became employed by many different plants as a contract engineer. He has written operations manuals and emergency shut down and start up procedures for plants operations and emergencies for several petrochemical plants. He currently serves as an electronic control systems engineer, and is working with the publisher of a magazine for a new town in Central Louisiana. He was published by Amonia Conferencing Association of the South.
