Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Weis is the supervising broker and owner of an independent real estate company in Manhattan, Kansas, and the owner of real estate franchise territory in Dickinson, Geary, Pottawatomie, Riley, and Saline counties. Since 2007, she has achieved annual recognition by Realty Executives International as one of the top three real estate executives in Kansas. Ms. Weiss is also highly ranked in the organization's Mid-America region, which consists of Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, and Nebraska. In addition, she ranked 18th of 12,500 internationally in 2007. There's much more to Ms. Weis, however, than being an award-winning real estate professional. She was recently appointed to the Kansas Arts Foundation's board of governors by Governor Sam Brownback. She has also held an appointment to the Governor's Military Council since 2008. Ms. Weis is an active proponent of the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility. She is also an active participant in the Leadership Kansas Alumni Association and a strong supporter of cultural organizations.
