She became involved in her profession because she has counseled people throughout her life. During her undergraduate years, she felt called by God to move from secular to religious counseling.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Elkouri Faour began counseling professionally in 1996, but has been counseling friends and community members for much longer. She preaches at women's conferences, and has spoken to various other groups. She intends to pursue a Ph.D. in the near future. In addition to her counseling profession, she also writes and composes her own music and has performed in churches.
