She attributes her success to her education, ability to advance withing her field, and a passion for what she does.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after watching a program on TV where a chartered psychologist made an excellent presentation on her present career path. She was so floored, she searched for more information and decided to start a new profession. Since she has a natural inclination for charity and service to others, she realized that she could help others progress within their careers.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Briscoe works with a charity mission in India to educate orphaned children with AIDS. She has been an active fundraiser for Action Medical Research since 1973. Previously, she worked as an account executive for an advertising agency. She has spent the last 30 years in increasingly senior roles within the nonprofit sector. This includes her work as a trustee of two international charities, one of which she founded, and two national charities.
