The highlight of her career was working on one of the first Niketowns outside of the U.S., which enabled her to work with Niketown's talented team and collaborate and lead teams worldwide.

She became involved in her profession because she wanted to work on large-scale projects and create successful and engaging environments for people.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Turnbull has been employed with BDP, or Building Design Partnership, since 1987. With Ms. Turnbull's guidance, BDP's interior design team has grown into a multisector creative profession, with a large portfolio of award-winning projects. Although experienced in a wide variety of building types, including large retail shopping centers, leisure, education, and workplace structures, Ms. Turnbull now specializes in the health care sector. She is studying for a Master of Science in planning buildings for health to extend BDP’s strategic awareness within the health care sector. Across the interior design group, Ms. Turnbull has a particular role in managing the development and quality of both the design concept and process, and she has acted as BDP’s project manager and design team leader to maintain coordination across the consultant team. Ms. Turnbull has been involved in such diverse projects as Niketown in London, which is the largest Niketown in the world; TresAguas in Madrid; and a range of private finance initiative (PFI) hospital projects. Since 2008 she has been involved with the interiors for the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi project currently under construction.
