She became involved in her profession after originally thinking about working in a production plant. She eventually switched her focus to regulatory affairs and started working closely with the marketing department.

Overseeing the legal aspects of licensing and authority contacts, pharmaceutical and material vigilance, and regulations and risk management; Dealing with the customers; Handling technical questions; Managing the warehouse for control substances; Handling public relations with labor organizations and the government; Lecturing in Portugal; Serving as an internal trainer for technology and legal issues
