He became involved in his profession after retiring from the public service in the Bahamas. He became further involved in his former profession of education.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. McCartney has accrued extensive professional experience in both the private and public sectors. He has been the first assistant secretary in the Department of Public Service in the Bahamas government since 2002. He has also served as a diplomat. Mr. McCartney is an accomplished public speaker, community activist and youth mentor. He anticipates earning a doctorate in organizational leadership in June 2012.
