She became involved in her profession when she first started in nursing in Saudi Arabia and became involved in the operational aspects of the hospital and became interested in design and aesthetic perspectives.
Extended Bio Profile:
In 1985, Ms. Hogan was qualified as a general nurse and went on to specialize in coronary care and cardiothoracic intensive care for children and adults. She worked her way up to director of nursing level, then general and operational management. She was a former project design director at Ramsay in Capio Health care in the U.K. and associate director for corporate affairs at Capio Health Care in the U.K. She was a national implementation and commissioning manager GC4 contract at Heart Hospital in London.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Planning and executing projects; Reviewing effectiveness and feasibility of health projects; Commissioning; Working with architects and health planners on build-design process flow and business efficiency; Researching design to address innovation in process effectiveness; Interacting between process design and evidence-based design to maximize flows with operational effectiveness and efficiency; Setting a strategic platform for successful delivery of health care initiatives and projects; Designing business process; Re-engineering design and operational solutions and operational-clinical advising; Conducting facility, business and clinical audits
