Ms. Callender is interested in her sons' educations. Her son Craig graduated from Northern Illinois University and has been employed by the city of Naperville in the Department of Public Works for over 25 years. Her grandson Brian went to the University of Chicago and is currently an MD at the University of Chicago Hospital, while her granddaughter Debra went to Northern Illinois University and is now an RN at Loyola Hospital. Her son Kevin went to the University of Illinois and his wife Julie works at the University of Wyoming Hospital as a pharmacist. Her grandson Cody is currently attending the University of Wyoming. Her sons Paul and Keith went to Southern University and are involved in Landscape Construction Agriculture in Iowa. Keith's daughter Tessa was the 2008 Cedar County Fair Queen in Iowa and attends Iowa State University majoring in the agricultural field. Paul’s daughter Amanda is the Iowa State Fair Showmanship Champion.

She became involved in her profession because it was her family business.
Extended Bio Profile:
She has seen such a change in agriculture. In her childhood, much of the work was manual so every family member had to contribute. Her family's Izzacre farm in Naperville supported eight people. She started milking cows at the age of ten and continued through elementary school, a one-room school, high school and college. Today, Naperville is a crowded town so she had to move where she could raise corn and soybeans. She wants to keep improving the quality of her decision-making skills, which will help her gain confidence. She remains committed to agriculture by having a good crop.
