She became involved in her profession because the grind of the advertising and marketing industry, and its 70 to 80 hour work week and international travel, made her look at her life and decide to spend more time with her children. Since she had always had a passion for art, she took a leap and started her own art studio.

Ms. Donovan is a former marketing executive and worked in the marketing and communications world for 22 years. She is specialized in the health care and pharmaceutical industries and left that world as a senior vice president. She continues to consult in that field on a freelance basis. Her studio creates original pieces of fine art that capture the essence of a subject, whether it is a trophy fish, an adored family pet, a favorite species of wildlife, or a beloved family home. Its mission is to create a lasting memory of a moment or place in time, a lifelong companion, or a beautiful animal.
