She became involved in her profession because when she grew up, in the '70s, the women's movement was in full force and she wanted to use her brain and law school seemed intriguing.

Ms. Cosgrave, as an attorney, has tried more than 50 complex cases in the areas of medicine, employment, construction and securities. The chair of her firm's Health Care Litigation group, she is the first woman elected to the firm’s executive committee and received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell for her exceptional abilities and ethics.

Developing business opportunities; Supervising; Training lawyers; Supporting the staff; Handling cases in both state and federal courts; Concentrating her practice in the health care field; Representing health care systems and long-term care operators; Assisting living facilities and medical device manufacturers in litigation and HIPAA, HITECH and electronic medical records; Representing physicians, nurses, dentists, and other medical professionals
