Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Zaremba is of African descent, and is proud of her heritage and accomplishments. She was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1959, a member of the baby boomer generation. She and her husband, David, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in April. They do not have children, but enjoy being the primary caretakers of their 92-year-old, young-at-heart, vibrant grandmother. Ms. Zaremba wants other people to know that they can achieve too, if they follow their hearts and do what they love. She was recognized as a ‘superstar’ for her work in management services by Peter Ueberroth, chairman of the 1984 Summer Olympics, in his book entitled 'Made in America.' Ms. Zaremba believes that being successful with work and family can be challenging, so people need to maintain a work-life balance. She believes it is a success factor that everyone must embrace and adapt into their daily lives. ‘Everyone seems pressed for time these days,’ she said. ‘With the faster pace of business and the push to do more with less, all people feel more pressure at work. And with more demands and priorities outside of work, people feel pressure in their personal lives, too.’ Looking good and feeling healthy are essential ingredients to having a wealth of ‘healthy work and quality of life’ from the inside-out and outside-in. She invites everyone to visit her website, www.gracefulliving.nsedreams.com, to learn about innovative technological advances in the healthcare and skin care industries. She previously worked for 13 years in the aerospace industry, 19 years in the high-tech industry as systems programmer, business process analyst, financial services industry marketing consultant, director of industry marketing, manager solution marketing, manager competitive analysis and technology product coursework, solutions portfolio manager, software and services product marketing manager, strategic business analyst and systems engineer. ‘My career,’ she said, ‘combining both IT technical and strategic product marketing skills, has given me the ability to develop insightful customer-centric business applications that drive work productivity, worker productivity, workplace productivity, and workforce productivity.’ She continued, ‘My unique and diverse professional experience has equipped me with knowledge of large enterprises and how to help them increase their revenue, reduce their business operations expenses, and enhance their cash flows. The most outstanding accomplishments in my career are all the result of my drive to help those around me become more successful.’ Ms. Zaremba notes that she enjoys being an agent for change. The foundation of her varied accomplishments began with training and certification in the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Improvement Principles while she was working for the Xerox Corporation. The Malcolm Baldrige principles are inspired by the ideas of Total Quality Management (TQM) including continuous quality improvement, and the principles recognize quality service in the business, health care, education, and nonprofit sectors. Xerox recognized that TQM training and applying its principles in everyday business operations is an integral part of improving customer satisfaction and teamwork productivity. As a result of this training, she was honored when Xerox was the recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award, and she has individually received several TQM awards. During and after Xerox, it has shaped and grounded her commitment to excellence. It has shaped and grounded her commitment to community service. This year, she will turn 50.
