Expanded Biography:
Ms. Narigon baked homemade cakes for people who had birthdays. She lives in a low-populated area of southwest Iowa and has all types of vending machines. She has to be vigilant and watch the kinds of products she buys, so as to keep the dates current. She previously owned a Bar and Grille, but sold the business because she was tired after long hours and hard work. It was, however, an amazing experience for her and her husband to meet so many nice people who complimented her on the food. One former customer recently asked her how much money it would take to convince her to re-open the restaurant. She says that it is a good feeling to know she tried to do her best. Ms. Narigon also has a 500 acre lake in Sun Valley, Ellston, IA that contains clear water, fishing, boating and wonderful homes. She and her husband Don still have several lots for sale. She had previously lived with her late husband Bob who died suddenly in November of 1992. She has four grown children, 10 grandchildren and almost 12 great-grandchildren.
