What do you feel separates you from the rest of the professionals in your industry?:
Dr. LaCount's commitment as a servant of the Lord to faithfully, without reservation, lead and serve her congregation, assist the elderly and the youth, as well as her desire to motivate students in her theological school to seriously work toward acquiring their degrees, and to love people in Christ's likeness, and as He said: 'With loving kindness have I drawn thee,' separate her from her peers.
What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
Dr. LaCount's greatest career achievement thus far has been attaining the freedom to work for God, and not for man; she feels that some people lack the knowledge of how to suffer humility, however, Jesus was sweet and lowly. Some people are full of pride, and can become quite greedy, however, Jesus rains on the just as well as the unjust. He is the God of all nations.

Apostle Dr. LaCount promotes these words of encouragement: 'The greatest power and gift that God has given to any individual is the power and gift of prayer' and 'No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper' (Isaiah 54:17), and lastly, 'May God’s richest blessings be yours.' She recounts a life-changing point in her career as her becoming a retired educator; it was then that her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, had ordained her for a higher calling.

She became involved in her profession because she always had a vision to reach out to the world and create a foundation for children based on love.
Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. LaCount previously worked as a teacher in public schools for 34 years. She writes bookmarks for newsletters, namely the 'Savannah Herald' and 'Savannah Tribune.' She has also been published in the Library of Congress in the District of Columbia. In addition, she was published in the Savannah Tribune in January of 1981 for supporting and sponsoring the 'Teacher Talk' radio show in order to bring awareness and address urgent needs in the Savannah education system. She was also mentioned in the Savannah Morning News in February, 1983 as a candidate for a vacancy on the County Hospital Authority. As a teacher, she opened a book store called Punchy's and was featured in an August, 1983 edition of the Evening Press. She is currently working toward the release of her book 'Who is Jesus Our Healing Savior,' and publishing spiritual poems and books. Dr. LaCount serves as an administrator for the Grace of Mercy Academy and as a chancellor for the Grace of Mercy Theological Institute, Inc. She was ordained in 1991 and is preparing to become president and chief executive officer of Grace and Mercy Bible University, opening soon in Savannah, Georgia. Her ministry can be viewed internationally at www.graceandmercyfgm.com. Dr. LaCount is the proud daughter of the late Mr. Harold Leroy and Mrs. Helen Johnson Miller.
