Ms. Callahan believes that her greatest professional accomplishments have been contributing to the health and well-being of her patients in their final stages of life. She has an overwhelming compassion for others and would like to be remembered as someone who made a difference in the world. The motto she lives by is her very own, conceived in 1979 when she completed her nurses training at the age of 36 while raising two teenagers and a four-year-old. It is: 'When you're through changing, you're through.'
