She became involved in her profession because she had a mentor friend who was the director of a private adoption agency.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Apple has a private practice and does psychotherapy and coaching. She also helps people create healthy relationships, define and achieve success, take their businesses to new levels, realize their career options, and become healthier. Ms. Apple developed and served as director for the Tanner Women’s Center, the preeminent women’s health center in west Georgia. With a focus on wellness, the center was designed to serve as a resource for women who want to become more proactive about their health. She also co-founded Children of Divorce, a state-approved education program for divorcing parents. Her empathy for children and in-depth understanding of family dynamics served her well as she created this interactive, awareness-raising program to help parents navigate the sometimes murky waters of divorce. Her expertise lies in connecting with people, and she offers services to people of all ages and at all stages of life.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Offering psychotherapy counseling to children, adolescents, individuals and families regarding all issues, including divorce, death, separation, anxiety, and life transitions; Providing coaching services, such as in team building, helping businesses move and strategic planning; Working with people who want to improve their lives in specific ways; Teaching, training and supervising therapists who have new licenses and are required to stay under supervision; Developing the Tanner Women’s Center; Helping patients and physicians build stronger relationships for better outcomes
