Lt. Col. Baker is a Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. She received many civilian awards and certificates for her community work. She was greatly inspired by her mother and her mentor, late Colonel Leonard Johnson, Jr. She is very passionate about volunteer work, public speaking, counseling and assisting veterans.
