She was recognized as one of the top 10 business women in 2009. She engaged in several fundraising events organized by the American Business Women Association and Collier County Sheriff's Office. She speaks several foreign languages including Romanian, Hungarian, Spanish, English and French. She previously managed air traffic control and security at several international airports and in the United States.
