Mr. Viron’s career achievements thus far, he has been recognized in Pensacola News Journal's People on the Move column, chosen by Ziff Davis Media to participate in the eWeek Reader Advisory Panel, and assisted and provided support of end-to-end testing and service readiness testing of ezLocal, successfully completing e-bonding of ezLocal to BellSouth Service Centers while serving at Network Telephone Corporation. He also founded Web Spinners at the University of West Florida and implemented a new backup system and password-protected network sharing for the main local area network of University Commons and Student Activities consisting of over 35 nodes at the University of West Florida, for which he has also designed and implemented a dedicated client and server environment for the University Commons and Student Activities Department's event management system software, resulting in an uptime increase of 80 percent. He has served as a major contributor in the development of a long-term divisional solution for inter-departmental network-based workstation and server backups within the Student Affairs Division at the University of West Florida. He has been the president of the Academic Web Information Repository since 1999.
