Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
The most gratifying aspect of her career is that her art and her music are proudly displayed and listened to in many businesses, homes, libraries and galleries throughout the South.
What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to being naturally talented in the arts since she was a child, combined with the fact that she has studied under several outstanding artists. Presently, she is studying with Mr. Hercel Stallard, a well-known and respected artist in the Northeast Florida area.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Mason began her career in Jacksonville, Fla., with the FBI and retired as a postmaster in Palatka, Fla. She also began playing the piano for her church in Pavo, Ga. at the age of 11. In recent years, she has performed solos at San Marco Square in Venice, Italy, and at the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney, Australia. Today, she serves God as the pianist with Hillcrest Baptist Church, and is also a Bible study leader. She writes, composes, sings and records her own musical creations, in addition to her wonderful works of art. She has always been creative and has painted in all mediums, with her favorite being watercolor painting. She has studied under several outstanding artists, and is presently studying with Mr. Hershall Stallard, a well-known and respected artist in the Northeast Florida area. She has won numerous awards for her art through many organizations, including the Woman’s Club of Palatka. Her art and her music are proudly displayed and listened to in many businesses, homes, libraries and galleries throughout the South. She is married to captain Marty Mason, and has two children, Jill and Justin, and two grandchildren, Jack and John.
