He became involved in his profession because of the inspiration he received from his father.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Johnson served the educational field until 2008. He was an adjunct professor in English as a second language and general adult education at Indian River State College from 1998 to 2008, and an administrator and English as a second language instructor for 26 years. He worked at the University of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools, the University of Southern Mississippi and the Alabama Public School System. He has published four poems in four different publications.
