Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
When I obtained a job by pursuing a volunteer position at a college. I had been laid off from my job and was pursuing my Bachelor's degree. There was a Security Summit co-hosted at my school with the FBI that I wanted to attend, but couldn't afford. I figured that I could get a lot of exposure in this field if I simply volunteered. After emailing, then calling the IT Security Director and subsequently meeting him, I was offered a position at the school in his department. This stood out the most because it made me realize that you never know unless you ask and the worse they can say is "no". In my case, I ended up coordinating the event and securing a paying job for the rest of my time at school.
