Ms. DeHart's worked as a legal secretary for many years after completing college with an accounting degree. In 1993 she adopted a Haitian girl who came to the U.S. for surgery at Shriners Children's Hospital.
Ms. DeHart studied medicine and returned to Haiti to oversee the headquarters and manage the 24/7 emergency medical clinic. She is proud to contribute her skill-set to the mission which offers a construction program that has completed churches, schools and churches in six villages, including over 50 homes for the homeless.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Handling All Stateside Administrative Duties, Fundraising, Producing Monthly Newsletter, Communicating with Volunteers and Contributors, Managing the Florida Office, Coordinating Team Mission Trips, Assisting with the Christmas in August Fundraiser as well as the Christmas Party in Haiti
