Ms. DeHart's background includes many years as a legal secretary after completing college with an accounting major. She handles the office in Florida, procures for the field, coordinates team mission trips, fund-raises, manages government paper requirements and helps with the annual "Christmas in August Fundraiser" as well as the Christmas party in Haiti. She has also adopted her Haitian daughter who came to the U.S. in 1993 for surgery at Shriners Children's Hospital then lost her Haitian mother. She received her medical education and returned to Haiti to oversee the headquarters after the death of her adopted father and manage the 24/7 emergency medical clinic. She is proud to contribute her skill-set to the mission which offers a construction program that has completed churches, schools and churches in six villages, including over 50 homes for the homeless.
