What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
He attributes his success to finding something specific that he was good at, and then focusing on that niche. He started working with medical meeting planners in 1995, when he had an old door as a desk because he couldn’t afford a desk. Today, the company has four international offices and represents 16 major U.S. medical associations. He still has the door as his desk.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession because his career in the convention industry came from his passion for bringing people together. A convention is collaboration, and for his company, it means uniting people of different cultural backgrounds. Customer service requires full trust from the international planners, and the credibility to continuously deliver quality services in changing environments. He never takes previous experience for granted. No event is ever the same.

Mr. Veglia is the president and founder of ABTS Convention Services, which serves as an exclusive international partner for more than 17 major medical associations.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Leading the team he created in four international offices; Delivering group housing, corporate travel, onsite support and sales and marketing to his U.S. Medical Association clients and their domestic housing partners; Connecting clients to his network of more than 9,000 international planners
